Positioning and creating a brand for a multi-purpose venue on a mission.Adjacent to the Fraser River in the town of Winter Park, Headwaters Center is a new venue, developed as a hub for people, community, and conversation. With three distinct uses, Headwaters Center will house an ecology center, helping to raise awareness about water issues; an event center, offering indoor and outdoor event rental space and housing a variety of public events and an education center to connect patrons with higher education opportunities. The challenge was marrying all these uses, given their distinct audiences and functions, under one brand that honors the mission it has set out to accomplish.
Creating an umbrella brand that houses all its uses.
We created a brand that holds together the three distinct focuses, ecology, events, and education, while representing the mission of water conservation in a mountain vernacular. This branding acts an umbrella over these seemingly unrelated components, while setting up the conversation of their inter-relatedness within the Center. We developed a logo, the website, signage, ads, eblasts, collateral and a library of photography.
